About DMG:

DMG is a Certified Great Place to Work with a strong, inclusive culture and top-notch benefits.
Job Summary:
The GTM Engineer will join the Business Intelligence team within the Revenue Strategy & Planning organization.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and go-to-market operations, partnering closely with Sales, RevOps, and Finance to reduce friction across the revenue lifecycle. The GTM Engineer will focus on building scalable data models, analytics, dashboards, and AI-assisted workflows that improve visibility, reduce manual effort, and accelerate decision-making for GTM teams.
This is not a pure data scientist role and not a deep platform engineering role. It is designed for a technically strong, early- to mid-career engineer or senior analyst with a computer science or data engineering background who can own problems end-to-end and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
GTM Analytics & Engineering
- Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and analytical models supporting Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations.
- Design and deliver dashboards, KPIs, and self-service analytics used by GTM leaders and frontline teams.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation across BI and GTM data assets.
- Support pipeline health, performance tracking, forecasting inputs, and funnel analysis.
- Analyze historical deal and pricing data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities that inform pricing strategy.
- Support pricing workflows by improving data completeness, validation checks, and standardized inputs (without owning CPQ or pricing systems).
GTM Workflow Enablement & Automation
- Identify high-friction GTM workflows and partner with stakeholders to improve them using data, low-code automation, and AI-assisted tooling.
- Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate: Analysis and reporting, drafting GTM artifacts (summaries, insights, templates), and prototyping lightweight automation and validation checks.
- Leverage low-code automation tools (e.g., Zapier or similar) to streamline repetitive GTM workflows where appropriate.
- Build repeatable, governed processes rather than one-off analyses.
- Clearly document workflows, logic, and outcomes in Confluence, and communicate changes effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Instrument outputs so impact can be measured (time saved, adoption, performance lift).
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Translate business questions into clear technical solutions.
- Communicate insights and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
Other
- Other duties as assigned by management.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related technical field.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured datasets.
- Working knowledge of Python (or similar) for data transformation and automation.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and modern analytics workflows.
- Experience building dashboards or reports in Power BI (or similar BI tools).
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with GTM stakeholders.
- Ability to clearly document technical work and workflows for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interest in go-to-market strategy, sales operations, and revenue analytics.
- Comfort using AI tools to accelerate coding, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
- Salesforce exposure (admin, reporting, or analytics), but not deep platform engineering.
- Ability to manage the stress of a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet the in-person requirements of the team and/or business needs.
